Still Here and Ticking Along

Hi friends.

I haven't updated the blog so it's probably time to do so.

On the great hair debate, I didn't end up getting any of the styles on this page (mainly because I couldn't get the pics to print to show the hairstylist). I opted for a chin length bob which I like for the length but will go back to have corrected this weekend b/c they didn't blend my waves well so I have "wings" on the side of my head.

We are supposed to get a heck of a snow storm this weekend just in time for Valentine's Day-the forecasters are saying 8-10" of snow which will definitely put a crimp in the celebrations of some. We have a pretty low key one planned - just dinner so we should be OK.

Finals prep still has me busy and then I'm looking forward to 2 weeks off from classes before the spring quarter starts.

I'm ready for spring and have been doing a little planning of what to plant in the gardens this year. Unfortunately, I'll be taking classes through the summer quarter, but things will be OK.

  1. Hi Paulissa,
I am anxious to see a photo of your new hairdo.
I imagine that you are ready for a break before Spring classes begin. I am amazed at all that you do and how you ever keep up with it all.

Did you get your snow storm? We are suposed to get a lot more rain tonight through Tuesday.

I hope you had a special Valentine's Day. We went to dinner, I ordered Hibachi Chicken I loved it. Today I dug out some more of my HE books and found a recipe for sweet sour chicken from the grilling book. The sauce sounded similar to what I had last night for dinner so I made it to marinate chicken breasts for tomorrow. Fat Free Catalina, and Apricot Spreadable Fruit. I added a little pineapple juice and honey mustard. I think it is going to be really good.

    Have a nice evening
    Iris
