I Am Enough

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people
won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,

we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically
liberates others." ~ Marianne Williamson

Coming Along

Good morning friends,

Summer weather has arrived once again to Nebraska. We are looking at temps in the 90s, but July was such a nice reprieve.

I went thrift store shopping Friday and found these gorgeous bowls - just the thing to make cooking far more enjoyable.

  1. Hi Paulissa,

Those are really cute dishes. I love the heart shapes in the bowls.

The dishcloth was just me making rows of double crochets chain three turn at the end of each row. and then going around the edges with a v stitch. (chain three single crochet, chain three single crochet in each double crochet.) I didn't use a pattern for this one.

I am ready for Fall, although sometimes it comes and goes without much notice around here. I wish we had more distinct season changes.
