I Am Enough

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people
won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,

we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically
liberates others." ~ Marianne Williamson

  1. It looks like you got the html and linking all worked out. It took me forever and as soon as I finished I could no longer remember how I did it. Oh the joys of being old.

Thank you for all the nice things you have said about my blog. It has been fun making it full of different little things.
I consider you a good and dear friend also. Isn't it amazing how all of us can form such good friendships here and on various message boards, and probably will never really meet each other.

  2. I wish you lived around here; we would go garage, antigue and thrift store shopping!!! I could use your knack for decorating!!!!

Today I'm getting my hair cut, masking off the dining room so we can paint, working in the gardens, doing laundry, etc.

  3. Me too! We would have great fun. I am anxious to see pictures of your house when you are finished. I remember when you posted the colors you wanted, they sounded beautiful to me.
