I Am Enough

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people
won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,

we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically
liberates others." ~ Marianne Williamson

Paulissa Update

Good morning friends, It is another beautiful, cool, sunny day today and I think I'll get outside a little bit today. I have to water the plants I got for get wells. I may also walk to my pastor's house for a chat and back (they live on the same street as me (about a half block away). Can you tell I'm tired of being in the house?

My in-laws come the week after next so I'm trying to get my house in order a little bit, straightening, dusting, etc. I need help with everything else since I can't lift more than 5 lbs right now.

I started reading "My Sister's Keeper" and I love it.

I've never learned how to can but want to. We have a nice farmer's market in our neighborhood and love to take advantage of the fresh veggies (that reminds me I have corn to husk and freeze). I made green bean soup yesterday with fresh beans and you just can't beat the taste.

The dishcloth is going well and isn't wonky. Here's the pattern if any of you are interested: http://www.michaels.com/art/online/projectsheet?pid=e06682

I'm making it with kelly green cotton yarn and it is turning out quite pretty.
I've been learning my way through the Mediterranean diet and I'm amazed at how much my body and taste buds love discovering the new flavors and that I actually am preferring fruit to sweets. Yay!!!! That is really progress for me.

  1. I love the little bluebird vase. I am so crazy over things that have to do with birds, chickens, roosters, hearts, well the list goes on and on. The vase has that vintage look that I love.

I used to can, but haven't in a few years. It is a lot of work, but worth it.
I am going to look at the dishcloth pattern. I need to do something more than my simple ones.
    Good luck with the diet.
