I Am Enough

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people
won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,

we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically
liberates others." ~ Marianne Williamson

A Day of Rest???

I hope the morning light finds you well rested and in good spirits.

Today will be a busy one for me: I'm leading the entire service at 8:30 - the readings, the liturgy, the healing service, etc, and helping with the healing service ONLY at the 9:45 service. Then it's back home to finish up algebra review for the test tomorrow, cleaning my house which sorely needs it, and then I can work on my crocheting. It sure would be nice to finish something! Thankfully dinner is in the crockpot (pot roast soup) so that will be no fuss or mess. Today I need easy.

I have to remember to take my iron pills; I'm becoming a bit anemic due to this other problem I have.

What are the rest of you up to today?

  1. We didn't get to church, because the kids were sick. In the afternoon, we went to the beach for 10 minutes to feed the seagulls. Got some wonderful pictures of the kids and gulls.

  3. Cape Cod MA We're only 2 miles away from Martha's Vineyard. I tend to take the beach for granted, since I've always lived here. Have a great day!

  4. I went to the ocean for the first time in my life last March and it was incredible. Either the ocean or the mountains, I would love to have those views every day.
