I Am Enough

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people
won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,

we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically
liberates others." ~ Marianne Williamson

  1. Great music. I enjoyed it a lot. Hope you had a good day with that math. I went shopping today and out to lunch. Whats your weather like? It has been so hot here.

  2. Hi Iris,

It has been quite cool here for the past several weeks (low 70s). We're supposed to warm up for the weekend and then cool off again.

I have made a very tough decision with my math. I was not passing it again despite the tutoring, hours in the math center, all of the extra practice problems, etc. So, I withdrew myself from the class and will spend the time necessary to learn these concepts at my own pace without the time constraints before taking the class again. I'm tired of feeling stupid and as though I'm not accomplishing anything.
